    Hello Classic Forum.

I'm interested in getting to know more about the
Defensive Argentinean, so I hoped if you guys
can recommend me some of his must see fights?

Watch the Nicolino Locche -Paul Fuji bout, where Locche won the juniorwelter title back in '68. You'll see a man get frustrated, humiliated, and just bamboozled out of his world title. Any actual physical beating that Locche inflicted on Fuji is secondary. A masterpiece of defensive boxing. It's a great place to start, then see his defense against Antonio Cervantes, as well as any other fight of his prior to or after winng the title..he was incredible.

Unfortunately, almost all of the footage available of him is past prime. The Fuji bout is the most conclusive footage you'll see of the man, as the first Cervantes fight is not in full. I've seen clips of his fight with Ortiz as well, where he looks a good deal slimmer and more mobile on his feet. Just imagine what he was like in his earlier years.

Another Italian defensive wizard (Italian/Sardinian-Argentinian). I don't know much about him but from what I have seen he's brilliant pure defensive fighter. His ability to slip and duck punches is probably unparalleled.

Fuji. A masterclass of epic proportions.

And I'd KILL to get ahold of his 1st fight with Cervantes.

I've been doing that at random, hoping it turns up.

No luck yet, but I'll be sure to upload it once I find it.
