Sounds like a great fight. Only just read about it. Nice to see Lee win and hopefully he goes onto bigger fights now. Macklin vs Lee later in the year would be very fun. McEwan did what I expected and lost but can come again either in a rematch or over here against Barker or Murray. Nice to see two Brits doing well.
It was a pretty good fight! McEwan is tough, thought he would hang on, although early on when he was getting hit so much I did think he was taking too many shots and would get stopped mid rounds, but then he came into his own and took over the fight. McEwan proved to be better than I thought with that performance. I think Macklin beats both fwiw, he'd have a tough night with both but I think he'd beat them both in messy fights and I believe he is also just short of World Level. All 3 of them like to defend shots with their face.

It was more down to how knackered McEwan was than Lee's power though, he can punch sure but he isn't a big puncher or else McEwan wouldn't have walked through him so happily!

As limited as you consider Macklin to be he has enough in the lock to stop the chinny wonder Barker and judging by Lee's defence last night there would be plenty of chance to finish him as well.
