Nothing to do with delusion. I just don't think he was hurt. He was cartoonishly exhausted.

Credit to him for his heart and chin. No bull****, I like him. I really do. It's just a pet peeve of mine in combat sports when I see wins like this.

Watch the final round again. He was getting hit clean and rocked constantly.

I could be wrong. I'm not the fighter. But can you at least admit it's very hard to tell? Have you ever been completely exhausted? Anything will rock you. You can literally faint from it.

Hrgovic landed solid shots at the start of the round. at the 1 minute mark, it looks like Hrgovic hurt him a couple times with flush shots. The camera angle is away from Itauma’s face so we can’t see it. Then at 1:15, Itauma started wincing in pain and got buckled a few seconds later.

Hrgovic landed a lot of shots in this round and had a noticeable effect on Itauma. One guy can take the other guy’s punch, but the other guy can’t take what’s coming back at him.

ok yeah third watch i concede. Not a leg injury. Itauma did a good job evading punches for the first minute tbh. I'm not quite sure why he was continually throwing heavy bombs when he was clearly gassed out. Needs to learn pacing

Hrgovic's punches were taking a toll, but Itauma was eating them/taking a lot of them. Looks like he exhausted himself more by throwing bad intention combos all round despite being knackered. He didnt need to go ham. Davison should have told him to take 1-2 rounds off . Bad cornering. V unlucky for Itauma. Shame as we needed some new hw blood

You're completely discounting the fact Itauma was constantly throwing heavy bomb combos. He was unnecessarily exhausting himself

All the people comparing him to Mike Tyson should just stay quiet for a good while.

Wonder does he think he needs a chin now.

In the post fight interview it was loudly obvious Filip had been well pissed off by that chin comment of Itauma's, as well as the loud commentary that Filip was some kinda stepping stone for the next big thing.

With the way the fight was going I was expecting itauma to somehow throw a last three punch combination and the ref to jump in to „save“ hrgovic before itauma collapses to the floor

He was swinging for the fences with full power on every hit? You could see his shape getting steadily more ragged from around the 5th round, he was over balancing on wild shots and the grimacing was coming more and more often. I think he decided his best plan was to try and get the KO in the 8th because he knew he was gassing and put it all on Hrgo; whether that was because he didn't fancy trying to navigate the last 4 rounds, physically couldn't or didn't know how is a question only Moses and his team will be able to answer

There are questions about the Chatham fighter's preparation, too. Itauma - who had never gone beyond six rounds professionally - admitted before the fight that he had never even sparred 12 rounds.

    LMAO
