    his comp was both journeymen and excellent,
    the guy fought 400 fights and EVERY TOP BRIT of note and Europeans too, from about LW to WW even MWs.

    Len Wickwar is an unsung great fighter.

    No disgrace being kod by Boon, when he was past his best ,Boon was a terrific puncher.

    Boon was one of the top dogs, could have won a world title in his own right!

    Boon finished at WW and won fight of the year in 1947 with Robert Villimain who gave LaMotta hell.
