lol so foreman is better than ali even though ali ko'd him...that is a stat..ko by ali...the rest is ur opinion
He'd still have won the rematch, even with no vision. Don't forget he's never been down on the cards after 3 rounds in any fight, has never been floored and has beaten stellar opposition his entire career which is why he flat out owned Lewis when they fought. He has also made the greatest comeback in the history of boxing by beating up the previously invincible Sam Peter don't forget....
Vitali had some good early rounds, but by th time of the stoppage Lennox was really coming on and rocked Vitali with a massive uppercut not long before the ringside Dr thought "Hey, if I can fit my entire hand inside this cut, it's probably time to stop the fight". Calling out a guy who is elligible for the HoF's next ballor having been retired for 5 years (!) is just further abuse of the HW title which until broken free of the K's grasp will not be unified is just tarnishing the title further. Vitali hit Lennox with several clean right hands - This content is protected This content is protected And there's another great photo I can't find where Vitali's glove is basically smothering Lennox' head ala some of those Peter photos. Lennox' chin has copped a lot of criticism over the years, and he was pretty much there for the taking, Vitali can't blame Lennox for not wanting to come back - But look at Vitali's face - This content is protected THAT is punishment - To say that had he fight continued Vitali would have won a decision is LUDICROUS. LOOK at his eye - That's up there with the worst cuts I've seen caused by punches in 23 years of watching boxing - Lennox - Power punches aside, has an excellent jab and that eye with another 15 solid minutes of fighting on it would be in serious danger of never actually working again. It was his left eye - So it's hindering him from seeing right hands coming behind that world class jab - Not good tidings. Lennox was behind 58-56 on all the cards - That's 4-2 in rounds after 6, so with all that to say that Vitali would have gone on to win is more than a stretch, it's ridiculous. They say "as goes the heavyweight division goes boxing" - MMA's rise and rise in recent years has coincided with the flop of the HW division - To want to dredge up bitterness at having been stopped and fight a guy who's retired for 5 years is a further insult to the sport and the division which the K brothers are already holding to ransom. Let's move on, for the sake of the sport and the division - Let's move on.
:rofl :rofl Just watched this fight again, and a few things really. 1. Anybody who questions Lewis' chin obviously hasn't watched this fight. 2. Fantastic fight. 3. Funny as hell when Lewis tries to say "so I don't know what you're talkin' about for like the 7th time in the interview but is cut off". :rofl
Vitali is a lumbering idiot whos only advantage is his size, Valuev would deck him big time everyone knows it
