For all the BJJ guys out there do you know much about Leonardo? It looks like he'll be doing a seminar at our camp later on this year so i just thought i'd ask you guys what you think of him? I know he is a 4th Degree black belt so he should know his **** for sure! My current instructor is 2nd degree and he is a wizard so i can't wait to see what tricks Leonardo has up his gi! (No Manilow) :happy [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YjdqAm1iXE&feature=related[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxhoKdQdtrg[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bc8CON4kzJ0[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1kLYq2noc8&NR=1[/ame] Lynchburg
He dominated Eddie Bravo at the ADCC 2003, after Bravo won the match that really made him famous against Royler Gracie. Viera won the 2003 ADCC for his weight division, and the 2005. Definitely go train with him.
Great opportunity to learn from a legend You can cut this No Manilow **** out though. Hes a God amongst men!
Well my coach is Chico Mendes at the moment but i will go to Leonardo's seminar for sure I just thought i'd ask what you guys thought... Lynchburg
Got the date set! September 17th! 4 hours with him. 2 hours no-gi and 2 hours gi. Plus Leo and all his guys from Brazil are staying to train at my gym for the whole week before the ADCC tournament. Lynchburg
Leozinho is one of the best practitioners of JiuJitsu to ever compete and his skills and abilities go even beyond BJJ. BJ Penn & his team were practically begging him to compete in MMA because of the abilities he was displaying during sparring. Word is he was a monster to train with and was handling many top pro's with ease.
this he took on a prime mark kerr who was 40kg heavier than his 76kg and also the reigning absolute adcc champion and mark couldnt even score a point on him. the dude is a freak. i would litterally cut off a toe to be instructed by leo viera.
Cool. All the Checkmat guys from Brazil will be with us the week before the ADCC tournament so I can't wait! Hopefully I won't lose too badly The seminar should be fun. It's open to non members too if anyone is interested? I think it's one of if not the first time Leo has trained in the UK... And it's in the gym I go too!!! Insane! It feels like a massive honour to be honest. Lynchburg
