Amir Khan will be p4p number one in 3 years time.
Why? Floyd will be retired, Pac will be retired.
Khan is getting better every fight (he'll even be able to win in DC if he keeps it up).
He will stop Peterson in the rematch, anyone who can't see this is blind.
he will then go to 147 and have an easy fight to get used to the weight, then he will easily outbox Bradley to a UD, too fast to skilled to explosive bradley wins 3 rounds max. he will then dazzle his way past ortiz and stop him late, don't even need to explain that one. he'll then probably have two belts in the division then i feel sorry for the ****ers who have the other belts, khan will decimate them then have all 4 belts at 147. = P4P NUMBER 1.

He'll then go onto beat the **** out of canelo at 154 beat a few young prospects then retire.

Peterson already laid the blueprint for Khan. He's all speed, no brain, and most definitely no inside game. Hatton would have murderised him.

I'm dubious about his ability to learn, improve and adapt. Very dubious. It might allay my doubts if he beats Peterson convincingly, but I'm just not sold on him yet.

    I expected something floyd/manny or haye/chisora/klit related.
Honestly, Khan cant make it too the top he has flaws he cant fix and even if he gets by Peterson which will be tough but is something he is capable off he will get kncoked out eventually at 147 by someone with power, ortiz or berto would stop him.
At the very best, when he gets way better than he is now he could be a p4p top 10 boxer but something like 9/10.
He is well known but there are many bxoers who are better and will go further.

Well I dont agree, while Khan is talented he isn't a complete fighter. He can't fight on the inside and can't fight going backwards.

Imo he got exposed in the Peterson fight and what was even worse was his attitude during the whole saga, not once did he show a willingness to go back to the drawing board and change what got him into the mess in the first place.

He has ALOT of the attributes to be P4P #1 but there is ALOT of other talented fighters out there who imo are have a more genuine claim to that top spot

    *cough* Ward *cough*
