No offense, man, but I think they were saying that the first go 'round. Mayweather has made insane amounts of money. Absolutely ridiculous. Also, in regards to Cotto, I do believe Urkal was a mandatory, and he fought Gomez after fighting Judah and Mosley back to back in great, exciting fights.

And yes, most do want to see Mayweather fight Cotto, who they percieve to be his toughest challenge to date, as he's proved a capable fighter over and over. Because if he wins, he proves that all the adoration was founded, that he is the top welterweight. And I'm 100% sure Mayweather would make quite a bit of money in the process. Fighting DLH proves what? That his bank account isn't suffering?

I just want Mayweather to be ready for the Cotto/Margarito winner when 3/4 of this year is done. This is horse****.

Deserves no respect? He's fought the best.. Win or lose, he deserves a lot of respect.. You'll be lucky nowadays to find someone who'll face all of the best like Oscar did..

Yeah, but that is just bull**** talk. A fight of the magnitude of Cotto-De La Hoya requires more build-up.

    Cinco De Mayo 2009.

DLH's gonna lose another boring fight to Floyd and get a beatdown by someone who can dish it out in December. Floyd won't do enough damage to prevent a December fight.. He'll leave DLH thinking he won again. Margarito and Cotto are more than capable of beating DLH at this point.

exactly, everybody wants to rip on DLH not coming through in alot of his mega fights...but how many of the latest crop of 'elite' fighters are taking each other on.

You can pad your record all you like but it should be the multi million dollar fighters who are fighting the best...I also echo alot of people here in saying that dlh-mayweather II does not interest me a whole lot.

    Lets get mayweather-cotto happening
