Okay, look at it this way then. Mavrovic lasted longer against a better version of Lewis, than VITLAY did against a Lewis who was verging on retirement. You can swing this both ways. Mavrovic was a completely different obstacle than Chambers. Yeah, he went to sleep a couple of times during the fight but also looked great in patches.

Just giving some perspective that Lewis by no means blew every single lesser opponent out of the ring in two rounds. Most of them, yes. But not all of them.

Mavrovic fought a conservative negative fight not unlike some of Wlad's recent batch of opponents, and Lewis just did enough to get by against an opponent that was rarely throwing. Vitali put tremendous early pressure on Lewis and forced him to step up and fight or risk getting stopped

The only fighter comparable to Chambers that Lewis faced was maybe old saftey first Holyfield, whom he looked bad against but still did enough to beat.

Lewis was great at blasting out big plodders like Golota, Grant, Rahman, Botha, and even Ruddock who would just stand in front of him. We never saw him against a quick smaller defensive fighter he would have to chase down, Byrd would have answered some of these questions but the fight was never made.

Chambers outboxes Lewis to a comfortable UD. That said, I voted Lewis as I think he would KO Chambers.

It'd be pretty much a carbon copy of what we just saw, either a late Lennox KO or very wide/shutout decision.

My god, the similarities between Wlad and Lennox are so obvious it's like people have to go 180 degrees out of their way to put more weight on any differences. I truly don't understand why people are so eager to transmogrify Lennox into something he wasn't (especially with Steward) just to avoid Wlad comparisons. Reeks of insecurity, really. Lewis was good enough on his own without people taking the steps of using every Wlad attribute and accomplishent, doubling it, and claiming that end result would be Lewis.

Yes, there are similarities. I'm a big Lewis fan and I have no problems comparing these two. :think
