Starts on the 14th of December. Currently 7 participations been announced :

Andre Sterling, Steven Ward, Liam Conroy, Hosea Burton, Serge Michel, Bob Ajisafe and Ricards Bolotniks.

Out of the current 7 who do you have as favourite? My money is on Burton.

    Ajisafe. Experienced, tricky southpaw.
He keeps you on the end of his long levers, then ties u up as soon as he thinks your getting close.
If the other opponents don't have good experience against that type of style, it will be hard to overcome on the n8ght.

I think he’ll get shafted on the cards at some point because of his style. If I had to bet the safe money is on Burton.

I think he’s an alternate and Lenin Castillo is in as the 8th competitor

    Ajisafe is the favourite here.

Burton and Conroy are possible winners too. But I do not see either of them having enough to win a decision against Ajisafe.

I have concerns for Burton because it has been 3 years, since he has been in the ring with someone who is prepared to punch back. He must have serious ring rust. I would make Conroy the favourite over Burton as a result of this especially if they fought each other in the quarters.

Ajisafe is tricky but horrible to watch. Can see him losing to Burton and Conroy if they work him over for 10. Castillo is in with a chance too.

Would love Conroy to win but don't think he will.

I dont see Conroy beating Burton or winning this competition. Ward who is in has already beaten him too

I thought big Bob Ajisafe had retired or something, not heard his name in years.

I think Burton wins, and hope he does because it's shocking how he's had a lack of opportunities

I fancy Burton to win this.

Since the Buglioni loss (what a fight that was by the way), his career has been extremely stop start and he's almost fell in the 'who needs him club' with opportunities not being put forward to him - but to his credit, he's stuck with it and stayed training in the gym.

I remember an IFL interview with him some time back now where he was saying what a nightmare its been for him but boxing is all he knows and he has no choice but to hope he gets a break. Hopefully this will be his break.

It’s a tough one with Burton as I saw the same interview but feel there must be more to it.

He’s with MTK who put on a silly amount of shows. Makes me think he either only wants big fights and won’t take low paid tune ups to keep him relevant or he asks for far too much money for those tune ups.

MTK are also happy to keep the likes of Catterall active out in Dubai etc surely he should be getting out atleast. On top of that he keeps mentioning in the interviews he couldn’t get on this Fury card but will be in the next one and then never gets out. Yet Isaac Lowe who is much more boring gets on everyone. Something doesn’t add up and I don’t think it’s down to him being a low ticket seller as he’s had 20 plus fights before that excuse came about.

why wasn’t he in that fight vs ward or conroy?

Burton is a horrible nights work for anyone in the division. I just don’t know if his style is enough for the judges.
