Was not much of a punch there but ref only saw the punch and not the foot getting stepped on.

Escobedo's uppercut would serve him well when Carlos walks in to smother him.

I got it 4-2 with a point in favor of Famoso right now.

Round 7 begins. Escobedo is now fighting with urgency and passion. Looks like he's a little worried now with the scores. Nacho must've reamed him. Hernandez is getting nailed now as Escobedo is BACK to doing what he was doing in rounds 1 and 2.

The GBP spin cycle is beginning as they try to diminish Hernandez good work.
Hernandez and Escobedo warring now and Escobedo gets Hernandez' respect with a quick sharp right straight. Hernandez is there to be hit and Hopkins said it best "That right hand down the pipe would knock Hernandez out." Both fighters are measuring now. Escobedo throws 4 uppercuts on the inside and Hernandez looks unhappy about that. Escobedo winning this round on the uppercut alone.

    Escobedo round.

4-3 draw right now on my cards.

Nacho Beristain fighters are masterful with the uppercut. Escobedo would be served well to pick it up.

Fight is getting better and better as the rounds go on. Famoso still has a little fire left. Escoboedo hasn't developed as much as I had expected by this point.

Yep, Vicente should throw that uppercut with bad intentions cause this fight is to close.

Hernandez popped with an uppercut as round 8 begins. Both fighters seemed to have slowed down a little bit as Escobedo is forcing Hernandez out with a jab. Strong jab from Escobedo and BIG uppercut just barely misses. Hernandez trying to bully Escobedo but Escobedo is using his jab to slow that down like a good fighter should. Hernandez' eye is a nasty mess. Hernandez hurt with a sneaky right hand. Hernandez may get stopped here as the eye is looking very nasty. Escobedo pounding Hernandez on the ropes now. Hernandez POUNDED with a brutal right hook.

    Hernandez hurt again!
