Surprisingly they're going to let Hernandez continue. I don't think it'll make it out of this round. Hernandez looks desperate and explodes out of the corner onto Escobedo. Escobedo still using that Beristain uppercut now and his jab is pushing Hernandez around. Doug Fischer is crying about a stoppage. The doctor checked it, said it was alright. That's it. Escobedo is still using that jab and uppercut primarily and El Famoso is getting pushed backwards. Escobedo looks set to just jab his way to the end of the fight. Not a bad idea especially in terms of leaning on the fly. Escobedo's jab is very good when he wants to use it.

El Famoso is certainly game and god bless him for that. Oh jesus RIGHT HAND hurts Escobedo! Escobedo recovers quickly and is looking to finish off Hernandez now. Right hook checks Escobedo. Escobedo getting baited into a war and he's doing it. Escobedo strafed with a big right and Hernandez is trying to cover up now. 1-2 seriously rocks Hernandez. Hernandez hurt again with a left hook. Hernandez trying to muscle Escobedo around but nothing doing. 30 seconds in the round and the crowd gives Hernandez a standing ovation. Hernandez and Famoso are just brawling now as the round ends.
