Cool. I figured the sanctioning bodies would shut Valero out again if this went long and the buzz would die out. Quite glad I was wrong, but I seriously doubt he'll ever be cleared for Atlantic City, so I'll probably never see him live. Dang it. Thanks, Arriba! These round-by-round threads are quality.
Valero has some pop to his punches but he has not fought anybody near the level of JMM but theres always the chance he could change the fight with one punch
Valero just said he'd do what he just did to pitalua to any fighter...and would want to fight JMM or Diaz. He'd be down to go up 140 to fight hatton-pacquiao winner also, he says he's quicker and probably hit harder at 140.
I don't think Valero should get too much credit for beating Pitalua. He still fights crude, beatable fighters. He needs to fight a legit threat. Let him face a guy like Juan Diaz, or other good fighters and stop feasting on nobodies. That's the only way we can accurately rate him.
i think he got full leverage. that's how I throw my left hand(nondominant hand) therefore valero's right hand. when you throw your non dominant hand in a hook, you throw yourself backwards. see the castillo-corrales II. anyway, just my opinion
