Excellent fight. Limond will be too fresh, too skilful for Watson, who has been showing signs of wear-and-tear in his last few fights. Still, Watson is a hard man and will push Willie over the 12.

Exactly how I see it , a very good fight for Limond to get back into the mix domestically .

Can see this going the distance, but i think willie will have just that wee bit more in him to pull out a points win. hopefully try an get along and see the fight.

Martin Watson was a real all action dangerman at one point, but was a victim of terrible decisions(robbed against meager) & bad matchmaking from the usual culprit Alex Morrison that its stalled his career badly, & he will know that a victory against limond is a 'must'

Its a great fight though as despite his controversial defeat to Khan, Willie Limond is now more popular than ever, & his stock has risen to new levels! Great clash of styles also.
Well, I think Willie wins this by UD, but admittedly I am biased as I am a big Limond fan.
In fact, its one of my proudest ESB moments when I told people saying that Limond was an easy opponent for Khan that they didnt know how wrong they were, & Willie would test Khan like he had never been tested before, & I wasnt half right:smoke

Good match up. Think Willie will win by UD. Hope he can add more titles this year.

I could see this going either way, good match-up and you could argue for either guy winning. :bbb

    i slightly favour Willie Limond.

Great match up. Limond could have come back against an easier fighter but this is a real opportunity for him.

We all admire Willie and all hope him success but I will be firmly behind Watson on this one. It looks close to call and it is hard to pick a winner but for me Limond should edge it in a UD.

i think this will be a great fight between 2 good lads,i wouldnt underestimate watson,as did barry hughs when watson destroyed his career overnight, now hughs has signed wullie will watson break barry hughs heart again, good luck to both lads, may the best man win, limmond has money behind him and watson has none so i hope it doesnt count when it comes to a decision,we want the right decision to go to the fighter that truely wins the fight.
    all the best both boys

Watson seemed to creep up on us over night. You look at his record and it is might impressive, good opponents. He seems a decent kid too.
