With mummblings that the show may be off is there a chance that Paul Smith could be on Warrens " best show ever" on 11th December fighting Mcgee or even but i just cant see it happing Degale
the show is deffo off 100% sure some one at our gym who was trainingto fight on the show has gone home because it was called off he was gutted
look guys please refrain from saying 100%....its only 100% OFF when Warrens website announce its not happening. The lastest rumour is that Liam Walsh will fight for the vacant Commonwealth Super Featherweight title on October 23rd at the York Hall with the likes of his brothers, Woodhouse, O'Meara and other Warren prospects in support. The title fight was origonally offered to Paul Appleby for the Echo show but injury ruled him out. So it looks like Smith vs DeGale December 11th. Its won't be Smith vs Magee.
I wish there'd be an official announcement sooner rather than later. I don't see why the fight can't go ahead & then move Smith onto a Euro/World eliminator & let DeGale fight for the vacant title in December. Obviously something going on behind the scenes & Warren's team are reluctant to officially cancel the card until the other plans are put in place. Interestingly, the tickets are still on sale on the Echo Arena website
Is Dec. 11th 100% at the ExCel? Someone elsewhere has heard it's up in Liverpool but they might have it a bit muddled up
