    WHEN I announced my Magnificent 7 show, some pundits told me the Pope was more likely to visit Birmingham than all the fights go ahead.

    Well, Pope Benedict will set foot in England's second city, and most of the fights are still on.

    Darren Barker has pulled out but Nathan Cleverly, Kell Brook, James DeGale and Frankie Gavin are in action, plus a crossroads heavyweight fight between Derek Chisora and Sam Sexton.
