That "poor athlete with no suprises" just went all 12 rounds against a guy who's considered the best (or one of the best) at welterweight (which is not a natural weight for Mikey, obviously) somehow.
it'd be a more competitive fight due to the fact Garcia is in fact bigger than Loma but I think Garcia would still drop a decision. Garcia would need to let his hands goes in order to beat Lomachenko but I think he'd have a problem with Loma's handspeed and angles. It would be a different sort of problem than what he faced tonight against Spence. Regardless of the outcome, it would be a more competitive fight than what happened tonight. You wouldn't feel ripped off as a fan shelling out $75 (or whatever the cost).
Do to being schooled, befuddled and hit with more flush solid shots that he doesn’t see coming than he was against Spence. Yes, that will be a day soon. Either a No Mas or Robert throws in the towel.
He just lost every second of a fight, got outboxed from start to finish and barely survived despite taking no risks. It was a pitiful performance from Mikey, I didn’t rate him but he’s even more average than I thought.
I’m going with Mikey I think he is gunna time loma into a big shot which will end the fight. I got Mikey by late TKO
That's a real superfight IMO. I would've loved to seen this fight had Garcia stayed at 135 lbs and continued taking on all comers. Him fighting at WW will probably make it hard for him to move down to LW again. Could they meet at JWW? I think 140 is a little too big for Loma, but his skillset is otherworldly and the size advantage Garcia would have wouldn't be too drastic. Mikey would have to get in the shape of his life and really work on his S&C in a fight like that. Loma's angles and perpetual movement in the ring make him a tough matchup for anyone. If Mikey's sharp with his footwork and the timing on his counterpunches than we could be in store for a great fight. Anyway I'd love to see that fight since up to this point no one has made Loma break a sweat outside of Salido. It'll take a very elite level fighter to compete with someone like Vasyl.
