Absolutely tosh fight. Still baffles me how it was seen by some that he warranted a rematch with Linares. BUT...Loma in the UK, so there's that I guess.
If it wasn't mandatory you'd be asking serious questions, but I've no issue with it given it is. Another one of the best, indeed probably THE best, boxers in the world fighting over here is a good thing for the sport.
Yeah mixed reviews really. Good having Loma over here, Crolla more than likely going to get schooled. If he makes the 8th round then hats off to him.
Hoping Loma vacates and goes back to SFW, but with only 1 belt remaining after his next fight, i think he'll wait to become undisputed and unfortunately have to fight Crolla to do so (as in he'll be tripped if he doesn't)
I really hope not, but I think they would, simply because it's Lomachenko. Just my opinion of course but I'll actually be surprised if it's not PPV.
Rather see Campbell vs Loma, to be honest. Crolla seems a likeable chap but can’t say I get excited watching him fight.
Crolla is definitely on the decline now, he's very shop worn and especially looked like it in the Eliminator fight, did a lot of old-manning in that fight, threw punches when he had to but he looked really faded compared to a few years ago imo. His fight before that he struggled also and got some ridiculous scorecards in his favour. Really enjoyed his career as he's made the best of his talent, excellent work ethic and a nice bloke. He reminds me similar of Burns but a bit of a lower level at his peak. However this is not a fight I'd particularly enjoy watching now he's declining.
Crolla has about as much chance against Loma as a puppy chucked into a shark tank.... But, this is boxing, a crazy crazy sport, what can you do, he is the Mando after all... No business fighting chenko though
Uncompetitive and achieves little for Loma in terms of legacy. Asforementioned, it's a mandatory so can't get to annoyed.
