50/50 fight but leaning Haney because of the ridiculous size and weight advantage he has. Loma would definitely be the best pure boxer Haney has faced yet. Haney hasn't really faced anyone who can box WITH him. Guys like Linares, JoJo Diaz or Kambosos are different styles. Styles make fights so this is probably the toughest matchup for Haney at 135 if you exclude Shakur who fights at 130 right now. I remember Loma beating the crap out of GRJ so he deals a lot better with boxers like Haney than he does with more aggressive pressure fighters like Lopez i think. At least if we talk about fighters in their prime and on a certain level.
for now Haney’s accomplishment at 23 years old was for undisputed light weight vs Mayweather 1st belt all be it at 20 years old vs Gernardo “Chicanito” Hernandez. so as far as legacy Devin Haney is well on his way to match or possibly surpass Floyd (Though it still is extremely early to truly know … see Adrien Broner)
Haney does not have top-tier athleticism, when you consider how big he is. Mayweather went through 5 divisions. Haney at 135 is the same size as Mayweather at 147. I doubt Haney will ever come close to FMJ.
not saying he is better or will be. His accomplishment at 23 years old are not only on par it can be considered a greater accomplishment then Floyd’s at the same age.
As expected, too many people jumping on Haney, just because media is telling them that he is something special, when he is not. Loma by stoppage, even this old, inactive Loma will stop Haney. Because there are levels and Haney is nowhere near his skill levels.

I don’t know what Salido wanted or did not want but what I do know is Salido beat him and won the fight. Loma does not guarantee that big a bag.
