Does anyone have bad feelings about Lomachenko going against war machine like Salido in his second pro fight... Lomachenko's stamina better hold up or Salido is gonna slaughter him in the late.

Not really. The man trains like a beast, so I don't think his stamina will be an issue. Lomachenko's ability to use angles, punch selection, and physical strength will be a great surprise to Salido.

I just watched some of his fights on youtube...quite extraordinary...this guy has genuine talent....i could see him and GGG being the future of the sport for the next few years...this Lomo guys style definitely has star potential...he is like a cross between Pacquiao and a mini Mike Tyson (in terms of movement and style but perhaps not power)..

I do think it's a bad idea, but it was Lomas stipulation for signing with TR.

OTOH if he is as good as his amateur record suggests it shouldn't be beyond him.

What it does indicate is supreme self-confidence, if he were to lose it could have a major impact on him.

I suspect Salido will know he can't get the better of a boxing match and simply try to maul and overwhelm him in an attempt to put him off his game in a way that wouldn't be permitted in the amateurs. Loma needs to be prepared for someone who is gonna try to brawl him rather than box him.

His ability to use angles might really hurt Salido.

I think we should wait with a hype until we see how he'll look against salido. If he gets stopped then most people will write him off.

It is a bold move indeed! Salido is no mug. If he pulls it off it will be the most impressive start to a pro career of all time.
It must be said that Salido deserves a lot of credit for taking the fight too. He must know that he is facing an atg amateur with massive talent. I can only assume he is getting a very good payday, otherwise it would be high risk low reward in the extreme.

I think Rigo really needs Lomachenko to come along if he is ever gonna get a mega fight that sparks the publics interest.

The Salido fight will tell us a lot about Loma.

The only chance Salido has is if Lomo's chin or stamina fail him.

Otherwise he's faster, more athletic, hits as hard, and is vastly superior in terms of sheer boxing ability. In short, he's got the aging Mexican outgunned.
