I thought the ring announcers were bad in the UK, but he was terrible.

Yeah, that line is too forced, and Buffer's "let's get ready to rumble" was too corny for my taste. I always preferred "the classy" Jimmy Lennon Jr.!

The longest ring introductions I've ever seen came courtesy of that horrendous ring announcer in Cancun this year for the Diaz/Campell and Peter/Maskaev fights. That guy had no idea what he was doing. First heavyweight title fight in Mexico's history and they get that jackass to be the ring announcer?atsch

 

Maybe the julian lennon of boxing since his dad Jimmy Lennon Sr.(another classy guy) was the original:good

I must admit I prefer Buffer, but Jimmy is decent enough!
