How did Froch walk through his punches mate? Johnson was walking through Froch's punches. When Froch got hit he went macho and threw 2 or 3 back which actually worked very well, but at no point did he walk through Glen Johnson and push him back. There was only a brief moment in round 11 I think it was where Froch was pushing Glen Johnson backwards. Andrade actually does walk through punches, he'll never stop coming forward regardless of whether he's hit. This makes pacing yourself for Andrade a lot more tricky as you have no time for a breather. Froch is essentially pretty cautious until he gets hit. Most of Bute/Froch would be a boxing match more than anything else.
I think Bute will beat Ward/Froch winner and beat Kessler too,the one I see him having most trouble with is Dirrell becauseof his running tactics.
Bute is a top quality operator, I really enjoy watching him fight Its not his fault he's hugely popular in Canada & can make a lot of money staying home & fighting the likes of Magee Hope he fights the winner of the super6 (Ward imo though I hope its Froch) & the loser in the final fights Kessler
All those times that Johnson threw a jab or two followed by Froch throwing a combo. As reflected in the stats.

atsch You're missing the point. Froch never walked through punches and never has done. Just because he avoided a jab and then threw a combination that isn't the same thing as walking through punches. Perhaps you need to reacquaint yourself with Bute/Andrade and Kessler/Andrade.
If Ward wins it will be Ward v Bute or Ward v Bute/Kessler winner or possibly Froch rematch depending on how fight goes. If Froch wins he'll rematch Kessler and Bute will probably fight Ward. If Bute's gonna fight someone decent it will be Ward, Kessler, Pavlik, Dirrell or Johnson. Can't see Bute fighting Froch until after Froch fights Ward and Kessler
"Walking through punches" would suggest that Froch was on the front foot pressing the attack, soaking up shots as he moved forward- which he wasn't for a large majority of the fight with Glen.
He looked mediocre against Andrade, Brinkley and Magee who aren't elite fighters, I think he would get soundly beaten by anyone in the super six, its all to do with levels and he has been fighting at a sub standard level now for too long.
He clearly didn't look mediocre against Brinkley and Andrade in the rematch. He gave them a right hiding, what more was he supposed to do? Magee did okay, nothing more than that. Did Brian Magee actually win a round? One at best. Remember, Brian Magee is a competent fighter, he gave Froch far more problems than he did Bute.
Why was Magee past it? I think he fought his best ever fight in 2010 and surprised quite a few of us so that doesn't stack up. I think he peaked pretty late myself, at worst I see no noticeable decline in his skills and he was genuinely competetive against Froch. Against Bute he did okay in a few rounds but never seriously did enough to win anything which is a big difference. (I'm not saying he's better than Froch or predicting the potential outcome of that before people get their panties twisted. Just some context for the idea that he 'struggled' against Magee).
Perhaps you need to reacquaint yourself with this :finger :yep I admit that "walk through punches" was a bad way to put it. What I should've said is that Froch was winning most of the exchanges when they traded, taking some hard punches from Johnson but immediately firing more back.
