come on...the only reason for that is because of the s6, their was no fuss over who u ''had'' to face insted of having people not want to face you. and its not way better...kessler and froch thats it. and soon there will only be kessler.

Thats the problem right there .These guys were busy fighting each other yet they were avoding Bute ? It's fans like this that make it difficult to pull for Bute ! You also must have missed But'e 20 count in Canada against Andrade ...

i get what your saying but your twisting it around as well. he did not call them out when they where busy. kessler was out of the turny when he called him out and we know how that ended. as for ward he never got to call him out because bute was under the impression that the winner was going to face him (these are words that ward said himself) but bute did say that he would face him in oakland. if not avoiding bute what can you call it then...?

I don't know how serious Bute was in fighting in Oakland but isn't he fighting Froch ?

I'm sure Goosen got to Ward and was like you just won the tourney let these guys wait ..Think about his leverage after he won the s6 ..I remember Ward saying he wanted Bute but I think he's going to milk this win ..It will also give Bute a chance to create more hype for himself ..

I'm certain these 2 will eventually fight ..

Going into the tournament he was a 9/1 underdog, all this "Wards personal tournament" circus talk is really entertaining, given the fact that back when it started, Ward was merely looked upon as a future feast for Kessler and Abraham.

Ofcourse, you BUTE FANS (alts...) call Ward a hometown fighter and argue that he's never fought away, even though he fought the final on the east coast, against FROCH, Butes biggest ever gamble was leaving Montreal for Quebec to fight Andrade long after he got sparked by him in Montreal.

Ward is 27. Has been champion since 2009-11-21 and has managed to unify the WBC,WBA and Ring Magazine belts, and won the Super Six Tournament.

Bute is 32 in a couple of weeks. Has been champion since 2007-10-19 and has held his IBF title hostage in Montreal (his biggest ever gamble was going to Quebec for the Andrade rematch, which was not even an immediate rematch :rofl)

Ward is the man, Bute is merely another paper belt holder.

welcome to the boxing carnival, where you get the impression you can win but never do.

At least try to not talk about Bute being a stay at home fighter when you compare both of them

Bute is a home fighter, has been a home fighter since 2007.

Ward has fought mostly at home (US is the Mecca of boxing anyways, so YDKSAB). And fought on the east coast in the S6 finale, he's done this since 2009.

Ward has done more in little over 2 years than Bute has done in his whole career.

yeah Bute's one of the most exciting fighters in the game right now with brutal power and highlight reel KO's almost everytime out, what's not to like. great speed, smarts, power, pleasing style. anyone who dislikes bute is a butthurt fanboy of either froch/kessler/ward, it's impossible to be a boxing fan and not enjoy watching Bute.
