Tony seems good guy, genuinely likes Boxing and not a chore for him. Good luck to the guy.

The problem with the idea of running so many more shows is the amount of bull**** stoppages there are on them. The fight which really highlighted that was the Maccarinelli one. It's highly likely Macca would have finished him off properly a few seconds later and if he had, the fans would have enjoyed seeing that but it was a premature stoppage...yet another. That will eventually hurt the fans who turn up to see good fights and big knockouts. The young lad on the undercard, Buglioni, has a really good following but are those fans going to keep turning up when the referee is stop the fights far too quickly?

I'm not some sadist who enjoys watching knockouts like the one Maccarinelli was on the receiving end of against Frenkel but far too often on these shows, we're seeing bull**** Calzaghe/Manfredo like stoppages. Right now I don't think it's an issue because this idea of putting on lots of decent cards is still fresh. However, 6 months to a year down the line, I do think fans will start to get put off by the poor finishes in these bouts.

There isn't a single Macca or Buglioni fan who paid for a ticket, who will be truly pleased with the outcome. They would have wanted a bit more and that's understandable. They want to see their man win and win impressively, yeah, but they want it to end decisively and possibly get a good fight out of it too.

It was gash. The BBBoC gets evidence of it every damn week and still they do nothing about it. It's not a safety issue, it's getting anti-competition.

Yeah, it's bull****. Like I said, I think Enzo would have stopped him properly within 20 seconds but that's what the fans pay to see! They don't pay to see a guy get wobbled and a referee jump in with extreme caution.

Running so many shows in the same venues with such poor referees is going to be hard. The fans need to be given their moneys worth and as brutal as it may sound, they want to see blood and vicious knockouts. They simply aren't going to get that.
