Is there a reason that neither of these have faced each other? Is it just timing, promoters, money or a bit of all them. I'm astonished they've all managed to avoid each other. Impressive really
Barker and Macklin could've fought 3 times over if he wasn't so unfortunate with his injuries. Murray hasn't been in the mix for as long but he'll probably fight one or both eventually, its just a matter of time. But everytime a Barker fight gets signed, seldom can you look forward to it because of the inevitable injury that ruins it.
Murray seems to have been moved from prospect to alphabet title shot pretty quickly considering he turned pro quite a while after the others. Macklin's never really got a run going in UK as a middleweight and when Barker and him were on to fight Barker got yet another injury. While there's alphabet shots or European, British or maybe even Commonwealth titles available they'll keep avoiding each other too.
Can't believe Barker v Macklin hasn't happened already. It's a fight that (surely) people want to see.
Golovkin beats all three of these I would like to see him fight one of them to raise his profile he's class
I'd love to see it, they don't get on either so it'd have a bit of edge to it. Just don't see it happening unless Barker comes back well from his hip problems, which I don't think is guaranteed at all.
Never would happen, but wouldn't it be great if they had a little round robin tournament to see who can claim the No 1 spot. Although it would probably result in a win/loss for each fighter!
