I think this would be a Huge Domestic fight, a classic. It looks like it may happen as well, they never shut up about it on ITV4 last night. I would love to see it.

I'd be disappointed if it doesn't happen! Great match-up, with the winner possibly going for the EBU title. Needs to happen and hopefully soon. Both finished their recent fights quickly so barring any injuries in training they should be fit and ready.

Macklin is tied down on the Kahn card so not sure how early it would be. With ITV talking about the fight non-stop i would think its going to be ITV ahead of Sky maybe in September but its a fight im willing to wait for

Mick Hennesay said last night that it should get made around September or October, assuming Macklin wins on June 27th.

I heard ITV comparing it to Eubank-Benn last night and even if that is a bit OTT it should be good if it comes off. I would fancy Barker, just but anything could happen.

barker is class but can look vulnerable. if there are any doubts about his punch resistance, macklin is the man to prove or disprove this.

this is one of those fights where the winner and loser can both go on to achieve something.

only way it doesnt happen is if Warren/Macklin pansy out and vacate the british title. great that ITV are hyped about it, would be great if they see it as ITV1 worthy, which i reckon is concievable.
