The greatest at doing both I have ever seen.

Very good breakdown and video of what it looks like to be an ATG.

Good video although IMO his uppercut was the ugliest of his ****nal.

Yeah they sure did but for me they were too much of an arm punch with not enough snap in the shoulder, maybe I'm being too fussy.

I agree out of all his ****nal the upper seemed the least polished, but l'm starting to think that some of the things he brought into the ring have become a lost art. You just don't see that skill set both defensively and offensively in a fighter very often.

It always puzzles me because I think a well executed uppercut is pretty easy to throw.

I just think it wasn't a particularly good example of Duran throwing an uppercut cause l just finished watching another technical video of Duran by the same author called 'the scientific street fighter' and it featured Duran fighting Palomino and l thought Duran landed some nice uppercuts in that fight.

What l enjoy watching most is Duran's ability to seamlessly transition from offense to defense and vice versa. It's a thing of beauty. I'm not too surprised he could do this against the inexperienced Moore but l am surprised he could pull this off against the experienced Palomino.

Duran, Napoles, Tyson, Lomachenko are great at offense-defense matrix level stuff.

I won't comment on the other two, but I've watched a fair amount of Tyson's fights and in my opinion Duran's defense is leagues ahead of Tyson's. And jn terms of transition fighting, watch the video at around 3:00 l certainly can't recall Tyson ever spinning his opponent onto the ropes the way Duran does.

Yeah absolutely, Duran is leagues ahead of Tyson there. I still very much rate Tyson's defense but also how well seamed it is with his offense.

Lomachenko is the best modern fighter with this capability.
