Who do you think would win this fight? I was on the general last night and seen Maidana was still getting hyped up to a million. Personally I think Urango wins in a fire fight, he can take some monster shots and still get up like nothing has hit him. I think he just toughs it out in a war with Maidana. Just surprised to see Maidana get so much hype off beating a few prospects and getting so much hype. He is good at what he does but really he will get found out sooner rather than later imo.
It'd be a cracking fight! The irresistable force against the unmoveable object. Maidana's BIG punching and relentless, whilst Urango is BIG punching and granite chinned. It's a war that's difficult to pick a winner from, if pushed I'd go for Maidana
I think Maidana by stoppage, Urango doesnt have enough movement and i think he is starting to become a little shop worn now as well, it'd be a fun fight!!!!
I can see either man stopping the other, to be honest. And I think if it goes to a decision, Maidana takes it more likely. I don't see why you think Urango is a higher class, really. They're both limited but good solid fighters.
I wouldn't say either man is better, I think its a pick'em really. I just find it funny how both are basically the same yet one gets hyped up as a world beater while Urango has no one talking about him. Would be a good fight definitely some chin checking punches going in. Would like to see how Urango takes a bodyshot like the one Cayo took, I honestly thought he punched a hole in him that night
I actually have a sneeky suspicion that Urango can pull this off. We know Maidana can be hit and we know that he can go down. If the same Urango who beat Herman Ngoudjo turns up he can win. However, the one who turned up against Hatton gets beaten within 8.
Right now I think Maidana wins this and probably by KO....I certainly would expect one to be on his arse by the end of the fight. This fight would be great on a big undercard....
It would be like watching two carthorses fighting...in a battle of the plodders Urango takes it in the middle third.
I think Maidana wins this just because, imo Urango has seen better days and doesnt have the right style to beat Maidana. Im not sure if Urangos chin is as great as its made out to be either. His biggestfights vs Hatton and Berto they just hugged him for 12 rounds. They didnt land great power shots. I think Maidanas there to be beat though. I actuallythought Cayo would beat him and I think Ortiz would beat him in a rematch. Hes there to be outboxed imo and I think khan,Alexander and Ortiz could all do it.
I don't see the fuss about Ortiz. Until he really goes out and beats some top quality opponent convincingly, then there is a massive question mark over him - even without the quittage against Maidana. Imagine the **** Khan would get if he was fighting Vivian Harris next atsch
