Maidana will ruin Bradley

**** it, Im going out on a long limb for this one.

I didn't say beat, I simply said ruin. Im still torn on who I think is going to win, but what I do believe is that Bradley will not be the same after this fight.

If Holt could put Bradley on his ass numerous times, Maidana will be able to as well.

If I'm completely wrong and Bradley totally outclasses Maidana, then Bradley has ascended to a new level of skill in my eyes, ecspecially if Bradley doesnt meet the floor.

I see it coming down to Bradley outworking Maidana most rounds, but always weary of Maidana's freakish power which will keep him in the fight.

Thoughts?

*And so everyone knows the fight has been postponed due to a back injury to Maidana, but it looks like the fight is still scheduled to go down on the 17th of July*

 

I thought Devon was takign this fight and Bradley was fighting somewone else? WHat happened

 

Must be a different Maidana, from who lost to Kotelnik and was down twice against Ortiz.

 

The wbc threatened to strip him if he fights Bradley I thought (which we all know is complete bull****), and Devon will be fighting his next fight at home in the summer. Thats what I thought was happening anyway.

 

I never once said maidana couldn't be outboxed. What makes him a force is his power and you cant deny that. Im not saying he's unbeatable right now, because obviously he is.

Maidana was down twice against Ortiz, but won. Bradley was down twice against Holt, but won. So one more time, will Maidana ruin Bradley?

 

Possible, but much more likely Bradley out boxes him and stops him.

 

Maidana catches Bradley clean...he most likely will go down, not saying Bradley has a dodgy chin, but Maidana hits you clean...you usually go down. Theres a good chance Maidana will run through Bradley, but theres probably a greater chance Bradley will outbox Maidana all night...Maidana may not get close.

 

Thats pretty much where I'm torn.

Bradley can be put down, has yet to be put out, but Ortiz was the same way until he met Maidana. And Maidana is there to be outboxed as shown by Kotelnik (although it was a razor thin loss). But if Maidana can land one bomb, it will open things up to land more, and all he needs is one clean shot to change everything, Bradley doesnt have that power.

Bradley's team very quickly made a deal with Golden Boy/HBO so he could fight Maidana instead. Let's see if it was a good decision.

I very strongly believe it is because Team Alexander put the pressure on saying that Tim ducked him and Maidana while they planned to fight Chino. Now that Bradley "snitched" Maidana (who was also ducked by Khan), Alexander is looking to fight Kotelnik, who beat Maidana, but of course lost to Amir.

So Bradley's gonna make it look like he's taking on the danger Khan and Devon refused and look to outperform Ortiz, Cayo and Kotelnik. Alexander is looking to beat the man who beat Maidana and Khan, who already shut out Kotelnik, is looking to fight one of the winners since the pressure is also in his shoulders.

In one word: AWESOME! :thumbsup

 

Bradley has underrated power and will also be the quickest puncher that Maidana has ever faced, so I'm leaning more towards Bradley to win this. Though I do like Maidana and wouldn't be surprised if he picks up a KO win, he's not going to win on points.

 

If Maidana wasn't made of steel and had freakish power, I wouldnt find this fight interesting.

Some of guys claim Bradley is overrated, so what the hell does that make Maidana?

 

We should not underestimate Ortiz power because he quit.

 

Im not understimating Ortiz' power at all, what I meant by point out the Maidana prevailing over him, is to point out how hard it is to overcome extreme power mixed with extreme will/determination.
