Wasn't terrible. It was just stupid. No need as he was kicking Broner's ass. If anything, it gave Broner time to recover.

Broner was clearly acting, and that left hook Broner ate while bitching to the referee hurt him far more than the head did.

Was a flagrant headbutt and deserved penalty but in he context of broner holding both of chinos arms, it seems like chino tryna nudge his way out of the clinch

Point deduction was perfect. You can't headbutt period. Was it a vicious headbutt? No.....but fighters can't do that whenever they get frustrated. The ref did what he had to do. He could have taken a point or 2 from Broner with all the pushing, forearms and holding. But it wasn't necessary because of how in control Marcos was.

No one cares about the point deduction, the fact that he rolled around like little girl after the fact is what's so embarrassing.

Lol. That was funny. It showed Broner was looking for "help". He got it but it wasn't enough. It was a good try but he should stick to boxing. ......leave rapping and acting to the professionals.

Is there an actual rule against crushing ur opponents face with ur forearm?
Effective, but has always given me the shits with how it's policed.
Even tonight, maidana tried it once and was warned str8 away. Broners reaction to the forearm was a joke, considering he was doing it all night.

Floyd grabbed Ortiz's throat right before Ortiz launched the headbutt. Not many mention that, that could have been some of the reason Ortiz did it. SOmeone grabs my throat I dont know what I would do but it wouldn't be polite.

I know. Some fights they let go some they don't. I suppose it depends on ur star power. But I'm curious if it is actually against the rules.

No mention of the solid punch Broner threw after the bell that required the doctor checking MM out?

I thought the point deduction was legit. It was a pretty obvious is was a deliberate act. However, the ref was letting Broner get away with a lot of nonsense, issued several warnings, yet did nothing. Maidana was rightfully frustrated, did what he did and accepted the penalty for it. No controversy there.

Broner's histrionics were pathetic though. He was looking for a cheap DQ.

I thought the ref handled that part of it well., simply by telling Broner to get up and fight.
