Well they are losing stars fast in the past years(Vargas,Gatti,Holyfield,etc). Adamek is they're main star now.

man i see ur point , usually fighter takes an easy defence between fighting dangerous opposition , but ,**** this is no easy defence this is like beating a dog with a bat , or more like beating a child with a slipper , this is a complete mismatch which is gonna last max 3 rounds and could possibly fit in the commercial break. easy defence would be against matt godfrey , 2bad he pulled out , but still there re around 40 to 50 available cruisers that re much better than Bobby this fight is kind of the fight that haters re waiting for
Anyone who hates on Adamek should find another sport. The guy is willing to fight frequently, always puts on a good show and will take on anyone. BTW, I'm not Polish, just a big fan. I wish there were 20 more fighters like Adamek around.
Very True very true thats why i blame Main events for the current situation not adamek himself cuz i know he just wants to fight the best but i can imagine who would he fight if he was under Gbp wings for example , he could make the cruiserweight division famous all around da world , he just needs an Opportunity! hope he'll catch one soon
With all the negotiations and opponents that went on and fell out around his fight, I'm alright with Gunn. They'll only be getting the live gate and a small amount of TV revenue from comcast to show it, so, it is what it is. They took a crap opponent and probably aren't getting a huge purse. There is nothing wrong with a fighter keeping busy against crap opponents that aren't sucking up premium TV dates. In fact, I wish more fighters did it. What I do have an issue with is the "hit list" article that was posted on fightnews this morning where he mentions Hopkins, Glen Johnson and Wlad as his hit list of opponents. With no mention of Cunningham anywhere. An Adamek-Cunningham rematch is the fight that needs to happen. And he doesn't seem overly thrilled about making it.
I agree that it needs to happen and if it doesn't happen after this fight I'll be a little less enthusiastic about Adamek. Cunningham deserves a rematch.
