Hey guys, let's have a little fun. Imagine if these two ever fought. Can you imagine how fu**ing boring this **** would be? "This bout is brought to you by Nyquil in association with Starbucks". This would be the first time a fan would require smelling salts. What would a good title be for the promotion? I came up with a few:

    "You Snooze You Win"

    "Leather Meets Feather"

    "Going the Distance"

    "Split Decision"

    "Just Kill Me"

I think Hopkins ward would be worse, they might as well just put saucepans on there heads and charge at eachother then hug for the rest of the round and charge at each other again the start of the next round

Agreed that would be boring as hell, but the fact that they are both a little dirty would make it at least somewhat entertaining. Don't get me wrong, I would never want to see it and Hopkins knows he can't beat him so it will never happen.

Yeah, but none of them have power and Spadafora would make it boring.

I don't think it would be that boring, Malignaggi is always fairly entertaining in spite of his lack of power.

I think it would be interesting. Malignaggi has a lot of heart and Spadafora throws a lot of punches especially to the body. Spadafora also is real good at staying in punching range while cutting little angles to make it hard for his opponent to land. There wouldn't be a knock out but it would be a skilled fight.

What's more of a guarantee ---this fight going 12 or Tyson/Foreman ending in a KO?

It wouldn't be all that boring. In fact, two light hitters can often result in some great exchanges. (although certainly this wouldn't be Gatti vs. Ward or anything given that both are boxer-movers first and foremost)

I could see this being a high-output match that got chippy at times, and could see both men bleeding long before it was over.

Just because nobody is likely to get knocked out doesn't mean a fight can't be good. :huh

A really boring match-up would be two huggers/spoilers, not two mobile quick-handed feather-fists.

Two counterpunchers with solid defense who can't crack an egg would make for a good fight?

Malignaggi is not a boring fighter in my eyes .

He knows he cant punch and yet it doesn't ever stop from trading/engaging with Punchers.

    (Broner , Cotto , Porter )
