"I hope he doesn't think that a win over Paul Delgado, who I beat seven years ago, is going to get him fights in the U.S. with people like Pacquiao and Mayweather. It's time to step up and I'm putting the challenge out there.I'm a full fledged welterweight. Maybe he might think that he has a shot at me because I'm not a big welterweight and I don't have a lot of knockouts on my record, but I'm a name in the U.S." Malignaggi said

I hope this one comes off. Zaveck beats Malignaggi and this could line up a bout against Berto. Zaveck has earned some good paydays.

    fight makes sense for both

  11. Yer a noob go away.

Paulie has been stopped twice, both times he was still on his feet, unhurt at the time of the stoppage... protesting loudly.

Hell, Cotto straight up broke Malignaggi's face, still had to win on points.

Zaveck is a fake titlist and at this point should be considered a bottom barrel prospect based on his pathetic recent "defense". I doubt he is anywhere near ready to face a professional of Paulie's caliber.

Atleast Malignaggi is now targeting and talking trash about fighters near his own C-B level. I'd like to see this fight.

    I say make this happen.

This would probably be Paulie's last shot at a title, and would open the door for Zaveck in America if he can impress.

I think Paulie has a chance. Hate him or love him, the guy has heart.
