Should he fight on or retire?

I think he will fight on. He still has a big name in the 140 division. Though I don't think he can beat the top fighters. With that being said, he can still beat the likes of Nate Campbell, Julio Diaz, and Humberto Soto if he comes up to 140 like the rumors say. He is also a tough out for the top guys. I am a big Paulie fan but he is a B+ fighter who loses to the A fighters (Cotto, Hatton, Khan(A last night)). I hope he fights on but hope he doesnt become gatekeeper status.

    What do you guys think?

I don't particularly want to see him fight on at a lower level than he is now, certainly not for an extended period of time. I'd like him to have a winnable fight to go out on a high note but judging by DiBella's comments last night it's very possible he'll hang his gloves up. I'm not sure he's as in love with the game as he used to be (or as much as he should be in order to fight at the top level) Looked like he'd lost a step last night & it wasn't quite there (although as I've said in other threads, I take nothing away from Khan as it was a great performance.) Chronic hand troubles & the neck problems don't bode well for him & more fights could lead to problems in later life. He's got a bright future as a commentator or analyst though.

He's still the same as he was before last night. Just a solid mid level guy at 140. The elites are Bradley, Alexander, and Khan. Just below the elites are Maidana, Ortiz, and Peterson. Then below those guys you have Paulie, Kotelnik, Urango, Cayo, ect.

Find a good alternate to boxing. No point in being a gatekeeper, and he didn't look hungry enough last night.

he needs to get some a side meth so he can train harder, then move up to 160 and start knocking cats out

He's in the same position he was in before last night, Khan was just to quick for him.

I think PM will continue fighting although if he did retire, he'll have a bright future as a boxing commentator.

I think he should retire, he could be a great sparring partner for now on.

DiBella said after the fight that he wants a life after boxing & will never be a punching bag so I see that as being out of the question tbh
