He looks like he has a good pro-style, and he also packs a punch. I can see him doing well in the paid ranks.

You rarely see a chin tested in the Am's but I'm told he has a good hard head to go with his punch power. Should come up to EBU standard at the very least. I'd expect him to starch his first ten or so opponents (if he is brought along as I expect he will be) fairly easily, though, so it might take a while to see what he's really made of

Darren has the potential to be a huge star in both Ireland and Britain, following in the footsteps of Collins and McGuigan.

Mine too.... least we might see him in a meaningful fight before he reaches the last 24 months of his career.

yeh he looked decent. but he is coming into the game late. Maloney will get him to the states.

The Irish fighters are always very popular in New York.

I know Maloney was looking to get some of his fighters on the Hatton card - after that I am not sure when another Brit fighter will be headlining across the pond.....

Perhaps there will be a few undercard slots on GBP cards where Maloney can work his magic

He has an excellent pro style. With the right trainer he could go far.

Sutherland will go further in the pro ranks than Degale ever will. He comes across as down to earth and a humble chap. None of the Degale b/s arrogance.

I'm excited about Sutherland turning pro. He has shades of a Miguel Cotto in him. He is well schooled with some fantastic moves.
