    He has got a lot of abuse on here this week but his guest column in boxing news is candid and self degrading.far from lay the blame at Lennox Lewis door he clearly blames himself'But maybe I'm the dinosaur,maybe I'm the one who's gone passed my sell by date'
    'Price can rebuild but there has to be changes and one of those might be I'm not there'
    'It was the wrong fight at the wrong time and the only person who can be held responsible is the promoter frank Maloney'


    Very honest,he admits he didn't want Lewis as trainer and he didn't want the rematch but he is only the promoter not his manager

    Maloney a sly muda****er he wants out he dam well knows Price is not worth the stress or hassle and after Price shambolic performance he dam well knows price is garbage

    Yep Frank by all accounts had a lot of other people's money invested in Price, this is him basically saying 'I got it wrong,I'm off'

    Exactly right, he just wants to get out of his promotional contract as he now knows Price has no chance on the world stage so the big money fights have gone. He alluded to it before bursting into tears in the interview "If David wants to go on I will stay with him, just out of loyalty to him" which was effectively saying that he wanted no more part of it but would carry on if he was legally obliged to.

    Can't honestly say I will miss Maloney too much.

    he should get out of boxing and accept his situation

    I think there has always been no love lost with lewis since lewis supposedly sacked him. I remember maloney saying on sky that julius francis showed the world that lennox lewis will beat mike tyson. as soon as the relationship with lewis was over he was back on sky saying he was picking tyson over lennox.

    lol thats 11-12 years ago now. boxing fans don't forget!
