I believe Rosario would have stopped Mancini. His punching power would have been the difference.

Rosario by stoppage will be popular but I don't think he gets him out of there. I think he does land the more telling stuff though. UD for Rosario pouring it on late.

Rosario hit as hard as Arguello......Rosario by TKO late.......but Mancini puts Rosario down in fight also.

Well put:good. Mancini was quite game but waaay to easy to hit. Not a good characteristic while in against a puncher like Chapo. Not that Edwin's an all-time great, but I see him being a notch above Boom Boom.

Can you imagine this fight Luf? Would be a ****ing war for as long as it lasts.. I feel Rosario stops him. I always felt he was underrated tbh.
Mancini puts up a great fight though as always.

The mancini that fought Arguello and beat the arse off Ramirez would be a nightmare for Rosario.

Or he could get starched early if he's not careful.

one of those sort of fights, but more often than not i think it would be close and brutal.

The version of Mancini that fought Arguello fought a great fight up until getting caught with that right hand in that one round. He was definitely winning the fight up to that point.

Curious that many think that Mancini was 'winning' the Arguello fight. He fought his ass off but there was never any question of him winning the fight- kind of like canizalez vs Bones Adams.
Rosario, while less hyped and certainly not an "ATG", was much better than Mancini. I see this as a 6-8 round fight...Unless Rosario is sharp that night, then it is over sooner, maybe 3-4. Or unless Rosario is slow that night. Then I think he still wins, but it could be a hard fight.
And that is why Rosario is just pretty good. mancini is always going to do his thing; it ain't much but he'll do it all the way.

it would be a war of that ive no doubt.

I think Mancini will have his moments as well and it could be a back and forth type fight but eventually Rosario will land a huge shot that will **** up mancini's life.

Rosario's power could easily stop Mancini, but somehow I can see the heart of Ray and the fact that Rosario could be hurt and hit clean make it so that Ray might get a 4th or 5th round knockout. Mancini was a harder puncher than Bramble, and would have been able to land something to get respect from Rosario which Bramble could never get.
