Manny at 130/135 like the Diaz fight was the best Pac for me more of a full fighter. At 147 Pac is more of a puncher/bit slower, i think at 147 Pac can be outboxed, but his punching power is crazy at that weight. That Pac at 135, was the best Pac for me, shame he only had 1 fight at that weight.
his slow at 147 is fast as most 140 fighters plus he throws 3x combo power punches.. Khan isn't a polished boxer yet..so its good that him meeting pacman is pure fantasy! Amir needs to shine against Paul M and doa job on Timmy to gain some status! real talk.
I am not even putting Khan in that picture, all i am saying Pac for me more of a complete fighter at a lower weight. Khan is not ready for the likes of Mayweather or Pac quite yet, as you say Khan needs to handle his business at 140 first before anything.
aiight sorry..i was just extending it.. same page. I just hope Amir prepares himself well for apaul and does a good job!!!
I hope he does but not too fast as i will be there(want to see at least 6 rds), I think Paul's low hands is a big no no vs Khan long fast hands. Khan should shine.
See Pacquiao/Margarito, Pacquiao/Cotto. Pacquiao clearly felt remorse for them guys and took it easy. He kept looking at the ref to stop the Cotto fight and the same with the Margarito fight. I have no doubt in my mind that he'd do his job, but would definitely take it easier.
Pacs optimum weight would be light welter IMO. At featherweight he picked up his best results based purely on energy, natural handspeed and power in his left hand. He was a force of nature. Now he is much stronger, more technically refined and has honed his right hand. He is barely off the pace of his 126/130/135 performances (in hindsight it is insane David Diaz took the shellacking he did) which is harder for bigger guys to counteract as opposed to smaller, faster fighters. Best way to slow Pac down is to walk him onto a big shot whilst he's in flurry mode. Pacs fast feet and angles make this an awful proposition. Khan has no chance of doing anything in a fight with Manny, he's also to hittable and not durable enough. He doesn't hit anywhere hard enough to get Pacs respect either. Although it would be great for Pac to round off his career with 140lb fights with Marquez, and the winner of Bradley-Khan, he can make as much money blitzing bigger guys that will still give him the same amount of kudos. Mosley is a joke fight IMO, but I imagine Pac will blast out Berto next. Despite Pac not being a big Welter, he has still outhustled and beat up bigger guys. He has a good body of work above 140, and, because he is the greatest active fighter, he can beat guys much bigger on Fight Night. But the Pac of 126/130 would've got battered by most of the opposition he has fought as of late. That's how much he has come on. But because he had some unbelievable natural talent AND an iron chin. Khan has made drastic improvements as of late, but Pac? I give him close to a 0% chance of beating him. I mean, how would he even be competitive?
Because he knew they'd taken a ruthless shellacking and they were still standing. Khan is going nowhere near the championship rounds with Pac.
Can Khan clean up 140? What Khan be like after 3 or 4 more fights?. What will Khan be like at 147, will his power improve more at the higher weight? Khan needs to answer some questions first before he even thinks about fighting Pac.
