I dont think this is the case with Pacquiao, imo he's one of boxing's greats who was actually appreciated while he was at the top of his game and that is'nt always the case with alot of greats from the past.
He is appreciated don’t get me wrong but I think the longer time goes on the better it looks. I don’t think the type of career he’s had will ever happen again so the longer it goes the more unique and special his career will prove to be.
I have Manny Pacquiao to thank for a lot of great times in my life. Thanks to my dad, I got hooked on boxing when I was eight years old but I did not have the same luck with my son. He just didn't care much for the sport. In 2009 I convinced my 20 year old son to watch the Pacquiao-Miguel Cotto fight with me and he was hooked. Since then we have spent many nights watching boxing together and having a great time. Thank you, Manny, and good luck in your future endeavours.
