The guy's concussion crazy. He's got blood thirsty in his old age.

Chad Dawson will join forces with legendary trainer Manny Steward ahead of his rematch with Juan Pascal next year.

The former WBC and IBF light-heavyweight champion lost his unbeaten record when he slumped to surprise 11th-round defeat to Pascal in August.

The Canadian has since gone on to earn a controversial draw with veteran Bernard Hopkins but is contracted to give Dawson a rematch first, likely to take place in April or May.

And in the wake of his first career loss, 28-year-old Dawson has opted for a change after trainer Eddie Mustafa Mohammad shaped him into a world champion.

"It was very frustrating watching Chad, who I think has an enormous amount of talent, fighting the wrong type of fight against Pascal," said Steward, who famoulsy worked with Tommy Hearns, Lennox Lewis and Wladimir Klitschko.
    Great

"At this stage of my career, I'm only going to work with fighters who can achieve greatness and I see greatness in Chad Dawson.

"Chad Dawson will regain his light heavyweight title and perhaps add titles in the super middleweight and cruiserweight divisions. He is that talented."

Dawson has a knockout percentage of just over 50 percent but little of his renowned power has been seen in recent years, something that Steward wants to address.

"I have always been a big fan of Chad's and I think he will bring excitement back to the light heavyweight division and to boxing," said Steward.

"I am not interested in winning decisions. I'm concussion crazy. I only want Chad to win by knockouts and I know that's what he wants to do too."

Good. Steward teaches you to box but if the opportunity is there then you knock the guy the **** out. Don't hang around, even if you are chinny. You don't get paid for overtime and if you are dominating then knock the guy out cos in boxing your opponent is dangerous for every second - EVEN if he is to stop you on a bad cut!

    Dawson vs Pascal in May

surley there will be a megative effect. Cotto will want his camp in US like Dawson, Klitscko will want to be in Austria.

Absolutely. As Marciano once said "Why dance with a guy for 15 rounds if you can knock him out in one"

This is the hurt business, you mess around at your peril.
