It's not difficult to call is it Waterboy, But I do think BJ last longer in boxing than Manny does in MMa. But Id only give Penn 5 rounds tops
MMA fighting has much fewer restrictions than boxing and of course is more diverse in the disciplines taught. BJ is taking this to the ground, Manny's only shot is to get BJ's eyes as he's going for the take down, and then maybe bite him.
Its highly unlikly that Bj could last a round in boxing rules. Ray sefo got koed brutally in the 2nd round of a boxing fight by a guy ranked around 150 in world maybe 10 years ago and he is supposed to be one of the best punchers in kickboxing at the time. The gap is alot bigger than MMA fans would think. Bj probably ****s him up easily in MMA rules. Depends if pacman can land the bomb before he gets taken down Toney is a fat slug at the time couture beat him...sure couture was very old to but i dont think he had faded as much as toney had. Looking at that pre fight training footage of toney showed he had fallen a long way with his punching . Secondly he was never a mobile boxer...he always stood his ground and didnt move much. Perfect for couture to shoot in. Boxing rules pacman wins probably in 30sec - 1 minute if he goes for the kill right away. MMA rules bj probably wins within a minute or so
Pac can change the angle and make himself difficult to control distance-wise for a take-down. If he's quick and reflexive enough to land that straight left, he's winning for sure in an all out fight.
Changing angles and controlling distance is very different from boxing to mma. Like I said, BJ could shoot from across the room and Manny wouldn't even see it coming, he might be fast when he's moving around a ring and cutting angles when he's defending against hands and attacking using only punches, but BJ could pretty much butt scoot and attack his ankles and Manny would have nothing Amazingly, the boxer would win at boxing, the mma fighter would win at mma.
WTF?!?! we are talking about manny "as a boy selling stolen ciaggrets on the streets and fighting of mad pilipins with bare hands" pacquiao. but yeah in a ufc fight i give the edge to BJ by round 2 sub in a boxing ring we would see BJ taking an ass beating for 3 rounds before going down and becoming paralyzed from the neck down for the rest of his life due to him being thrown out from the ring WWE style
