Does any version of cotto beat Manny Pacquiao?

Manny stated the fight was his difficult thus far because it was dead even after ( insert here ) number of rounds. I can't remember which round he said exactly but alongside the two early kds of cotto on the canvas, it wasn't until round 7 that pac started to dominate his will. The latter parts of round six were when he imo the beast of pacman started edging his will power on Miguel.

What if there were no catchweights nor hydration clause? Manny Stewart had mentioned that Miguel cottos technique was so dang flawed in the Pacquiao fight, saying perhaps that Miguel was captain of his ship during training camp. Matter of fact who or his long was the trainer during Manny Pacquiao fight enlisted?

The start of the seventh round it started to shift momentum. Speed kills with that southpaw stance and many angles, with the same Darn lead right hook used in the Keith Thurman fight knockdown years later

Near the end of the fight, Manny was landing with ease, while Miguel had his earmuffs on at many times. Not to mention he bludgeoned Manny's right ear with a rather unique bandage he spotted after the fight.

If Miguel had better timing, weight, what period of time would you guarantee him a win over Manny if any? Imagine he had better technique and wasn't captain of his own shop aka with proper fundamentals, technique and form? Some people view this fight as Manny's best win in his glorious career, so would it be too far fetched that he couldn't do it every time ten out of ten fights?

Edit: not exactly sure of rehydration, but yeah Miguel expressed Manny was the greatest fighter he fought

Obviously the weight matters, otherwise why have the clause?

However, cotto himself was at 140 one time and don't forget where manny came from

I'm in the minority and think cotto is a truly elite fighter and a top, top win especially for manny

One of the greatest wins this century. Not sure if cotto could win under better circumstances, maybe, maybe not. But manny was awesome that night

Pacquiao is goat level and this win along with barerra 1 and hatton are awesome performances

Cotto can’t beat Pacquiao due to the weaker will, which you’ve broached. Cotto folds.

If he could be some slick boxer, maybe. But he can’t his defense was never that good.
