    All casual fans stay the hell out of this thread. I don't care if you are a Mayweather fan or Pacquiao fan. Break it down for me after what you seen last night from Manny.

    For me the one thing I seen tonight is that Manny has trouble cutting off the ring against guys on the back foot. We all know he has power and hand speed. So many openings that Mosley failed to pull the trigger on. Now lets break it down. For me the same thing remains. Mayweather needs to stay out of that mid range zone bc that is when Manny can hurt him. The outside and inside is where Floyd must stay at all times. All fighters know that the jab is the key to neutralizing hand speed and messing up rhythm and timing, and you need a jab for Manny. Foot speed is harder to neutralize but can be done if you have foot speed and great foot work, Mayweather has it all to trouble Manny. Manny has heart and he will bring the fight to Mayweather. We can all agree to that. The biggest problem I see is that Manny runs the risk of getting dominated bc he just can't cut the ring off and Floyd will make him over extend to land and make him pay every time.I want a Pacquiao fan to talk some boxing and break it down for me.:thumbsup

    Im absolute now... even after top rank mosley was given loot to spar and go 12 guaranteed... once he pushed manny...he actually made the script really go off kilter... manny looked very surprised at the treachory

    Floyd would embarass the **** out of pac.

    I think that Manny gives to many angles, and more importantly, Floyd is too accustomed to fighting in straight lines. He resets the pace after the 2nd round by rushing to a corner, and waiting on an opportunity to counter. Lead right, pull-counter, single jabs to the face and body-but rarely have you seen him circle and opponent, pivot and initiate an attack, or deceptively change the angle to set up an offense. I think Pacquiao will successfully turn him and outwork him. Pac will eat some solid straight rights when Floyd gets into a rhythm, trust me, but Pac will be smart and feint coming forward. If-when-Floyd turns into that dragon, Pac has the tools to make him pay for sticking his chin out like he does. Overhand left, counter right hand, straight left to the body...

    Everything that you say Floyd doesn't do he has done his entire career. He has the best foot work in the game and he always circles out. The only fighter he didn't do it against was Mosley. Everyone said he would run from Mosley and he ended up walking Mosley down the entire fight. Tell me this? Why couldn't Manny cut the ring off against Mosley? Mosley held Manny's output down and made him miss tons of shots.

    Mayweather will be in major trouble at some point in rounds 1-4 (although he wins at least 2 of those rounds, but he might suffer a bad knockdown in the process). After that, the fight will change and Manny will slow down and get a bit sloppier, while Mayweather will make the necessary adjustments and start countering Pac with hard rights and check hooks, showing expert timing. This will cause Pac to make a few counter- adjustments and Pac will win about 2 or 3 more rounds just from activity, but Mayweather will be ahead in the end, winning by about 7 rounds to 5 or 8 to 4 (with a knockdown for Pac likely) 1 judge will have it for Manny but the other 2 will get it right and make it a split decision victory for Mayweather.

    Floyd will be afraid to engage. Pac will be chasing Floyd and will have his moments. It will be a boring fight, much boring than the Mosley fight. The judges will likely award the UD to Pac based on aggression if Pac won't catch Floyd with a killer punch, and likely he won't.

    Why would he be afraid to engage? When has he ever been afraid to engage? Floyd can control the range and box from the outside like he did against Marquez or he can pick his combinations when they are there and fight Manny at an up tempo chess match and make him over extend and pay for that. Manny doesn't have a jab that Floyd will respect and that is a major problem for Manny. The jab is the key that opens up the straight left and hooks against a guy like Floyd. Floyd is always set for defense even when he is throwing. Thats why he does the mitt work routine that he does.
