It is apparent that Manny's best weight is probably just below 147 and before 2008 he had not campaigned higher than 130 and started his career as low as 107. Is/was Manny a malnourished filipino hence campaigning at such low weight and does this make his achievements before moving up to 140-147 even greater? Can anyone honestly imagine Shane Mosley, Cotto, Hatton ever being able to weigh that little and be as effective as Manny?
1st post, huh? Welcome. Mosely, Cotto, Hatton as effective? No. That's what makes Pac so great. It not what he has accomplished, it's the way he accomplished it.
Agreed. He's fighting guys he wasn't meant to be fighting, nor was he being asked to fight them. He then goes further by wiping them out in devestating fashion, in a manner which no one would think possible. If he stops or knocks out Clottey next week, I really will be speechless.
