Used to like this guy. Was like a 5 time Featherweight title holder. Was a feather fisted mover with excellent in and out footwork. Wasn't elite but was a good champion with a good record. What do yall think of Medina?

he knew how to win ! if it took butting a guy or roughing a guy up or out slicking them and out working them he was old school and could do it to em
thus the 5 x featherweight title holder

he's a very over looked fighter these days

Medina was one of the important types of fighters that makes boxing go round.

But a 23 year career, fought some of the best fighters from two separate generations. Underrated fighter on a few different levels.

Were all of the decisions against Johnson fair?

He was similar to Zaragoza in that he was kind of an average fighter, but was so tough and determined, he stayed near the top of the division for what seemed like forever.

Exellent but not a great fighter.

Propinated Johnny Tapia a thorough boxing lesson only to get disgracefully robbed on the cards.

Tapia didn't win a round against Medina.

Medina just didn't have the power or strenghth to keep the strongest featherweights off of him.
