Floyd outpoints him and liston stops him even back in 58/59/60. u might question that stoppage, but no, Marciano wont have the tank anymore, he loses by tko same way he beat up gasing old Louis.

Appreciate the excellent post catchwtboxing. I understand that he earned his place on that pedestal, but it seems I have been reading alot of people saying he was unbeatable. I have been debating this with my friends lately as they all love Marciano mainly because he is white and Italian. Majority of them are not huge boxing enthusiast either.

In my opinion Marciano didn't have much of a resume, any of you old timers please school me on this but I only see 2 or 3 big names that he beat.

    Thank you.

He beat four ATG and a 5-6 top contenders. His record did not have Louis or Ali depth, but was prettysweet in my book, with a very good top ten.

    Walcottx2
    Moore
    Charlesx2
    Louis
    La Starzax2
    Layne
    Savold
    Matthews
    ****el
    Beshore

He didn't leave much left on table, and Baker, Valdez, maybe Satterfield were plausible opponents.
