Dude had a GOOD jab that setup a lot of his punches I've always said THE JAB is the key to beating floyd which is why he never fight's anyone with a good jab!!!
Mayweather's jab was hitting air last night. That and his movement (or lack there of) was what really appeared sub par.
Maidana jab is bull**** and still landed. Mayweather meanwhile couldnt land his...if you cant land a jab on maidana....
The speed of Maidana's jab is bull***** But the timing of it is decent...and the power of it can be tremendous.
I liked how he was using it all throughout the bout. Very solid boxing by MM. That's why I think it was one of Floyd's better wins (not performance) when going by what the opponent was bringing.
Saw him making Floyd miss, landing his jab, and making Floyd hesitate. will be interesting to see if he builds on this in the next fight. If he can get Floyd on the ropes for a larger portion of the fight and bang away, I don't think Floyd can do enough in the center of the ring to counteract that on the cards.
His jab was completely telegraphed. I could see it coming from my house but somehow it still managed to land. I don't know how Mayweather wasn't able to counter and make him look silly.
