freddy... I know you love your mexican boxers, as do I.... but this was far from a robbery. I personally scored 116-112 for Mares, but there were about 3 close rounds that could've gone either way. Again, I think Mares won, but I'm ok with a draw since it was very close. Mares gave away two rounds when he chose to get on his bike a little. Chavez vs. Whitaker was a robbery, this was just a close fight.
I had it 116 - 112 for Mares. But the whole take the title thing could have come into play bigtime. Honetly though, California has a very good boxing tradition but **** man their refs and judges ****ING blow. I mean its almost like your fighting in some third rate bannana republic the way they screw things up left right and center sometimes.
MAres clearly won...okay it wasn't by a wide margin but **** it would have been nice if he would have gotten what he deserved. We had the same score card and I agree with everything you said but really I'd just like to see this commision get it right for once.
It just means freddy has grown stale and predictable. That does happen with Mexican once in a while, which is why the menus in our house get shuffled to the bottom of the folder after each use.
I dunno. I think he won, but robbery is a pretty strong word. A lot of those middle rounds were pretty close. He sure came on in the last three though.
close fight my ass.....some close rounds, but no way in hell was this a close ****en fight...mares won his rounds big, the rounds you "could've" gave to perez were a bit close...... pwill vs margo was way closer, in cali, and nobody said **** about that fight........ can't stand this **** about boxing.....
