Do you consider Margarito a boxing fraud, wanna him to permanently retire or get a lifetime ban ? ..... or do you think he should come back after the suspension fight hard for his reputation and fan forgiveness ?
When Margachetto fights he should wear pink cloves and white shorts that have got cheat written on them.
Don't really know if I should call him a fraud... I'd say he should complete his ban and then come back, doesn't he have unfinished business with Cotto? let them settle it out in the ring again, this time with no doubt about what's on Margo's gloves.
Margarito's a great guy. Such a brave, impossibly tough warrior. He never knew someone on his team had plastered up his goves, no way. I feel really sorry for the guy.
I see why no one could stand to margarito unless u boxed his iron chinned ass and run from his cemented hands. I agree with cotto saying that he messed around with fellow boxers careers and not just his and he should be banned for life. Whether or not he did it his whole career or once he should be bannned for life
I'd watch him fight again, ALL his fights have been good entertainment. If he is allowed to fight again, I'll watch.....If not I have tapes. Won't lose sleep either way.
If margo did this throughout his losses it really shows how unstoppable he is with advantages of a granite chin and cemented fists. Too bad he lacked in technical department he'd be unstoppable. I'd bet if he fought floyd, mosley, or cotto with cemented handwraps he'd have no chance whatsoever
i like him but he should get banned for life. who knows how many times he have cheated. even if just once, he still proved that he just doesn't care about his opponent's health. That is just evil.
See the thing is did he know ? If he didn't he should get 2 yr ban. If he did lifetime ban, but how do you know ? It seems very unlikely that he didn't know as I've boxed and even when the wrap was twisted or slightly out of place I could feel it and would re-wrap. It seems highly debatable that he had plaster of paris in there yet din't know. We cannot prove it either way so prob give him 2 yr ban. That way he misses a long spell in his prime but he gets some chance to redeem himself if he genuinely didn't know. His trainer should be banned for life. Not happy that he's still training, just can't be in the corner. Thats nothing he can still earn a living yet he could have killed someone and knew EXACTLY what he was doing
the thing about it is if margarito doesnt get a lifetime ban what message does that send to the next person who thinks about cheating?
