Margarito & Pavlik

These two are about the same hight. Could Margarito go up to 160? If so How would he fair against Pavlik?

Pavlik is several inches taller. Possibly as many as 3-4 inches taller. Not quite the same size.

 

Margarito was sent back down to 147lbs fro 154lbs by Daniel Santos. Kelly Pavlik knocks him out in devastating fashion at 160lbs.

 

could margarito go up to 160? i believe so. Could he win? Nope. He'd give up the advantages he now has at welterweight. He didnt do so hot at 154.

Margarito needs to fight Santos again at 154 before even thinking of having a shot on Pavlik at 160.

 

Pavlike is 3 inches taller. Margo could move up to 160, being that he walks around at almost 170. But he dont want it wit Pavlik.

 

Margo's punching bag style defense and solid chin would probably lend well to long term serious injury against a fighter like Pavlik. Pavlik is way taller, im not sure where this same size business is coming from, he would punch him at will.
